Veeraj Shah is a first year bioengineering major at the University of Maryland (UMD). He works at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Radiation Oncology department. His research focuses on the integration of precision medicine and informatics into clinical radiation oncology. He also leads a public health intervention to India as a part of UMD's Public Health Without Borders. He is an avid football fan, tennis player, and enjoys backpacking. In the future, he plans to pursue an MD/PhD and pursue research in cancer immunotherapy.
