Biology, Linguistics
McGill University, 2019

Nicole studies biology and linguistics at McGill University in Montreal. On the biology side, she is primarily interested in the intersection of evolutionary, ecological and developmental biology. On the linguistics side, she focuses on language modelling and theories of language acquisition. She enjoys speculating on where these two fields overlap in terms of their respective evolutionary mechanisms. When she isn't at the library, Nicole spends her time riding her bike around the city (weather permitting), browsing the Nature website, and learning how to cook.
