Queen's University, 2018
Nicholas is completing his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Psychology and Biochemistry. Following this, he hopes to pursue a JD and work to help researchers and physicians navigate the fields of intellectual property and health law. Nicholas currently works for Ontario's Ministry of Health as a policy analyst, where he is responsible for overseeing several notable portfolios that provide funding for various health system research programs across the province. This opportunity expands upon previous health sector experience, consisting of quality control improvement and error model design at Toronto General Hospital's Immunohistochemistry Laboratory, the largest lab of its kind in Canada, as well as optimizing psychiatric resources and physician recruitment across medically under-serviced regions in rural Ontario.
