MR. ADAM SYCHLA is a PhD student in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics at the University of Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate work in Molecular Genetics and Physics at the Ohio State University in 2018. His current work focuses on using synthetic biology approaches for biocontrol of pest species and bioengineered organisms. Adam spent three years as a part of the JYI staff; six months as a Layout Designer and two and a half years as Chief Technical Officer.
