Minority Health Disparities Summer Research Opportunities Program (MHD/SROP)

The University of Arizona Graduate College is offering summer research opportunities focusing on health issues that affect minority communities in a disproportionate manner and specifically research involving pulmonary, heart and vascular, and blood diseases and disorders.

Citizenship Requirements

Open to U.S. and permanent resident undergraduate students.

Eligibility

1.)    Of American Indian/Alaska Native, African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander descent or other underserved populations (i.e., groups traditionally underrepresented in biomedical careers).
2.)    Have completed a minimum of 75 semester units toward your bachelor’s degree AND have a GPA of at least 3.0.
