YAMINI is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery candidate at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, India. She is currently in the final year of her course and is expected to graduate by July 2013. Her previous research experiences encompass the field of pediatrics, public health and epidemiology but she is interested to work in many more aspects of health care. She has been appointed the Elsevier Student Ambassador for the year 2012-2013. She has joined JYI with the aspiration to work to the maximum potential. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels and listening to music.
