Tim Xu is a first-year medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He recently graduated from Vanderbilt University, where he majored in Neuroscience and Modern European Studies and studied abroad at Sciences Po in Paris. Tim joined The Journal of Young Investigators in August 2009 as an Associate Editor in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences and was appointed to serve as Director of Public Relations in April 2010 before becoming Editor in Chief in March 2011. He has had experience with behavioral, genetic, biochemical, and neuroimaging techniques applied to the study of depression, OCD, and schizophrenia. In his free time, Tim enjoys swimming, ping-pong, and movie soundtracks.
