Shilin Zhou

Shilin Zhou is a senior Public Health major, Film and Media Studies minor student at Agnes Scott College, GA. She has previously worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the CDC Oral History project for the David J. Sencer CDC museum. During the first 7 months of 2012,  she studied community public health in Botswana where she gained knowledge of global health from university courses and HIV/AIDS testing and counseling experiences from clinical work. Her academic interest is to explore culturally pertinent communication strategies for communicable diseases among marginalized population in global contexts. She's proud to have bungee-jumped from the magnificent Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
