Osric Forrest is the new Managing Editor. For the past two years he has had the opportunity to work for the journal as an associate editor in the biology department. During this position he was able to learn a lot about the other side of the scientific process and gained a better appreciation for editing and publishing. Now while serving as the Managing editor he hopes to continue my work for the journal by helping to improve the rate at which articles are published, while maintaining the quality. Osric recently completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Hampden-Sydney College and is now enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Immunology at Emory University. He looks forward to working with the other executive board members and serving the journal in his new capacity as Managing Editor.
