Marley Rossa

Neuroscience and Philosophy
Duke University, Expected May 2014

Marley is a 3rd-year undergraduate at Duke University in Durham, NC. Her primary field of study is neuroscience but she is also majoring in philosophy, just for the fun of it! She hopes to incorporate these two fields of study into her future career by studying the neural correlates and evolutionary origins of consciousness. Marley's research at Duke involves the investigation of numerical cognition in lemurs and Old-World monkeys; she is absolutely obsessed with the primates she works with and wants to pursue a career in research involving a primate model. In her spare time, Marley enjoys yoga, painting, camping, and of course, watching Duke's basketball team play!
