Lily Coltoff

Lily Coltoff is a freshman at American University. She is majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Public Health. Her hope is to one day be a science writer; she is very interested in health reporting and disability advocacy. At school, she is a staff writer for the American Word Magazine, a trombonist in the Screamin' Eagles Pep Band, and the Shabbat Intern at Hillel. When not under a deadline or at a club's event, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.

One of the founding fathers of JYI, Brian Su, became the youngest person to co-PI a grant from the NSF. The purpose of the grant was to fund the start-up costs for JYI.
