Jenny Jing recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire, completing her Honors Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She joined JYI in August 2012 as an Associate Editor in Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Her primary research experience involves studying the genetics of the strawberry. She has also conducted research in the sociology of disease, public health and is currently researching Neurofibromatosis Type 1 as an American Cancer Society Fuller Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. She plans to attend medical school specializing in genetic medicine. Beyond her research, she has served as UNH Chapter President, Treasurer of Golden Key International Honour Society, Treasurer of Phi Sigma- the Biological Sciences Honor Society and Service Co-chair of Alpha Epsilon Delta- the Health Pre-Professional Honor Society. She enjoys sports, medical volunteerism and being an advocate for international education.
