Marine Science and Biochemistry
Daniel is a double major in marine science and biochemistry at Eckerd College with a pre-medical focus and expects to graduate in May of 2017. He has conducted research on a wide variety topics including crab recruitment, regenerative stem cell therapies, protein factors in ribosome formation, toxicology of harmful algal blooms, and developmental protein interactions. Daniel also works as a service-learning innovator with the Eckerd College Office of Service Learning where he hosts community discussions, puts on events, and leads students on various service trips. Apart from his academic endeavors, Daniel enjoys hanging out with friends at the beach and traveling with his family.
