Dr. Brian Su
DR. BRIAN W. SU is currently Administrative Chief Resident of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center. Brian received his B.S.E from Duke University in 1998 in the field of Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. He received his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2002, where he was also awarded a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship. He continued on to conduct a general surgery internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and then an Orthopaedic surgery residency at the New York Orthopaedic Hospital. He is the recipient of multiple academic and industry grants and has published several papers in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. In 2008-2009, Brian will continue his training in the sub-specialty of spine surgery through a fellowship at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. During his time at Duke University, Brian was one of the five founders of JYI and served on the Executive Management from 1997-1999 as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He has previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors.
