Austin McMeekin

Austin is a Neuroscience Major at Vanderbilt University and expects to graduate in May of 2017. Some of his interests include neurogenesis, stem cell therapy, and regenerative medicine. In school, he spends most of his time between working on his honors thesis and as President of Vanderbilt's Neuroscience Majors Club. He's also volunteers at Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital teaching science lessons, is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and works with Vanderbilt's Medical Innovation Lab. After graduation, he will be pursuing a MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise at the University of Cambridge in England and then continue to medical school within the U.S. Outside of academics, Austin enjoys exercising and catching up with friends.
