Amy is studying genetics and mathematics at the University of Georgia. In the past, she has done research on gene expression and is currently learning about mathematical modeling. In her free time, Amy enjoys running and listening to music. After graduation, she hopes to continue doing research and earn a PhD in genetics.

Jayanthi joined JYI because she thinks constant engagement in research and journal organizations enhances one's scientific skills. Through this opportunity, she would like to share her experiences with young researchers and help them advance their career and interests in science.
