Alperen Sirin is an undergraduate at University of Rochester majoring in Financial Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics. At the same time, he is specializing on a certificate program in Mathematical Modeling for Economics and Political Science. His research interests range from applied to pure mathematics. Specifically he focuses on mathematical modeling, game theory, and number theory. During 2013-2014, Sirin competed in regional and national Mathematics Olympiads and Project Olympiads. He is currently working on a research project titled “Recursion in Coefficient Patterns of N Degree Polynomials”. In addition, he enjoys playing table tennis, soccer, and chess.
