Chief Technical Officer

Job Requirements

The Chief Technical Officer position is an Executive position, and, like all Exec positions, requires a commitment of at least 10 hours per week. All communication is via internet or phone, so no geographical constraints exist – the CTO may live anywhere in the world. All JYI staff are expected to check their email daily and respond promptly if necessary.

Preferred Skills or Experience

The Chief Technical Officer must have extensive experience with PHP and MySQL, preferably with a past project already complete for consideration. Experience with Macromedia Flash and ActionScript is preferred, as is experience in other programming languages. The best applicants will have experience with several different website and media development tools. The CTO should be able to work with a team to accomplish common goals, coordinating the technical department’s programmers and graphic artists.
