Science Career Center
JYI’s Science Career Center (SCC) will provide undergraduates with the information they need to make informed career decisions. The Science Career Center will incorporate information on current job trends in science, medicine, engineering, and technology with information on how to prepare for those jobs.
The Science Career Center will be a unique, interactive website designed for undergraduate science majors. The site will feature in-depth information on a wide range of career paths in the sciences, such as careers in academia, industry, medicine, public policy, and science communication. New articles on science-related careers and how to prepare for these careers will appear monthly.
Funded by a grant from the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, the Science Career Center will be launched in late 2005. It is currently in the preliminary stages of production.
