MS. SELBY CULL is a Ph.D. candidate in the Earth & Planetary Sciences Department at Washington University in St. Louis. She is a planetary geologist, working on the Phoenix Mission, which will land on Mars in May 2008. Long interested in science writing for the public, Selby received her M.A. in science writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006. Selby worked as a Science Journalist for JYI for 1.5 years, before serving on the Executive Management from 2003-2006 as Senior Research Editor, Senior Features Editor, and Editor-in-Chief.
